ABGFC was founded in 1984 and was one of the first grassroots football club in the borough of Rushmoor, providing a safe fun environment for people to come and play football. We have always encouraged girls to play in mixed teams or all girl’s teams.

The FA promotes Girls to play football in girls only teams. With the aim of promoting girls only football the FA introduced the SSE Wildcats program. Aldershot B&G are proud to be members of this program since 2019.

Our U14 girls’ team focuses on refining skills, tactical awareness, and physical development while introducing more competitive play. Players often specialize in positions, build teamwork and leadership, and navigate higher intensity matches. It emphasises resilience, confidence, and balancing progress with enjoyment.

As a stepping stone to advanced levels, U14 football fosters growth as athletes and individuals in a supportive environment.

We have progression pathways available with our U14 Angels and with the addition of our ABGFC Ladies team we hope to create a pathway for Girls only football right the way through the club.
